CHARLESTON – A Collinsville, VA husband and wife is suing 137 defendant corporations, claiming that the companies are directly responsible for a diagnosis of mesothelioma.

Larry and Annie Nolen filed a lawsuit on April 27th in Kanawha Circuit Court saying that Larry Isaac Nolen was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma on Feb. 24

He smoked cigarettes from 1960 until 1989 according to the complaint.  Smoking and asbestos exposure is supposed to increased your risk of getting mesothelioma.  

Larry Nolen worked for the companies between the 1960's and 1980's.

The companies are blamed for several things including negligence, contaminating buildings, breach of implied warranty, conspiracy, intentional tort, misrepresentation and failure to warn.
